I've also installed 2.5 both as fresh, and upgrade, installs and only ran into one silly glitch: I upgraded a site before checking to see that the plugins were compatible and/or disabled beforehand. Been working with 2.5 a lot over the last few weeks and think I'm at the point where I wouldn't want to go back. Strange - hadn’t heard of that issue. I had to install 2.3.2 which would write database table and then upgrade to 2.3.3 The more advanced and WP illiterati might jump onto the 2.5 upgrade, but I'll wait awhile.
